Hampton Inn Santa Barbara/Goleta, Goleta

The hotel is conveniently located near Santa Barbara University and a short drive to the Santa Barbara Pier. The staff were excellent and provided helpful recommendations. However, the noise from tow trucks passing by at night was disruptive. The dining options were varied but some breakfast items ran out quickly.

I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The room I stayed in faced the street and was conveniently located right beside the gym. The hotel has some flooring that isn't entirely carpeted, which was a bit unexpected. The service was extremely friendly and accommodating, especially when we needed to adjust our pool reservation timing. The location was about a ten-minute drive, not too far, and was quiet. The dining experience was good overall, with a variety of options available, but it felt more like a Hampton Inn than a typical Hilton Garden Inn. The facilities were well-maintained, and the atmosphere was welcoming.

My stay at the hotel was a bit of a mixed bag. The location was convenient, not far from the coast, but the layout was a bit odd due to the lot size. Despite the small rooms facing the street and proximity to the gym, the service was top-notch with responsive and professional staff. The dining options, although included in the room price, could have been better with more replenished items. The facility was decent, but the cleanliness of the rooms was a major letdown with dirty bathrooms.
